The Date
Have an old car? What about your dad, can you borrow his? Surprise your date with a drive in movie. Drive in movies are hard to come by these days, but chances are you’ll find one within two hours. If you can’t, this isn’t the date for you. Check out camping for an adventurous idea. Grab your old car, get yourself some blankets, pillows, chairs, bug spray. Pretend like you are going camping. Maybe a flashlight. You’ll need a lot of annoying things for a drive in movie. But the experience is worth the payout.
Activities
Once you arrive, find yourself a nice spot in the front. Or park by the concession stand…there are probably speakers there and you won’t have to run your car battery if they don’t have the ones that sit in your window. This date needs to be planned. Don’t go when it’s too cold or too hot. Once you are there, remember you can bring your own snacks, so enjoy your date, candy, the movie, and think…this is how they did it in the old days. It will truly make you more thankful for the air conditioned leather seats we have now….but a great trip down memory lane.
