Our Three Step Process
Because we women can handle more steps.
Step 1
One of my favorite date ideas is going to an outdoor movie in the park. There are tons of places around Central Florida that offer “movies in the park.” Mount Dora hosts a free movie every second Friday of each month. Winter Park hosts one every second Thursday of the month. Leu Gardens offers admission to the gardens as well as an outdoor movie for $5.
Step 2
Research this one at least a few weeks ahead of time so you can find a movie in the park worth seeing. They change all the time, and scheduling a date like this in the future is a great idea. You’ll need to prep your man. Pack a blanket and a few snacks, and arrive at least 30 minutes early (you’ll want to get a good spot! These things fill up quickly.)
Step 3
Enjoy a movie under the stars! Be sure to take a stroll around the downtown area (or gardens, if you’re at Leu Gardens) before or after the show together. You guys will have a great time relaxing and watching an outdoor movie.
Hint: Don’t go on a very hot or very cold night.
